Welcome to The Mote Squash Club
Welcome to the Mote Squash Club
CORONAVIRUS UPDATE (30th May'20): The club unfortunately remains closed until further notice as per Government guidelines with respect to indoor sports.
Our club coach, Steve Franks (see contact details below), is available for 1-2-1 coaching in outdoor settings and following all appropriate social distancing guidelines.
We are situated in the grounds of The Mote Cricket Club next to Mote Park in Maidstone, the county town of Kent.
We are a private members club with four squash courts. We offer a wide range of sporting and social activities, including squash, racketball (Squash 57), table tennis and fitness classes. Members can book courts via the online booking service within the club website. Members enjoy free parking.
Our stylish and modern bar is open week-nights from 5pm, and is also busy at weekends. The club is available for hire for parties and private functions for members.
The club balcony enjoys wonderful views across the grounds and is the ideal spot for a post-match refreshment.
We hold Club Nights on Friday and Sunday evenings. Our Fitness Classes are held on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. We also run Fit for Squash on Monday evenings and Squashacise (ladies only) on Wednesday evenings, both run by our club Level 3 Coach, Steve Franks.
We have a thriving juniors section with organised group sessions based on ability on Monday’s (after school) and Saturday mornings run by our Head Coach Steve Franks, and his coaching team.
Internal "box" leagues run throughout the year for both squash and racketball (Squash 57).
Our club teams compete in the North Kent Priory and South East Kent Leagues.
We also host Graded Tournaments in singles, doubles and racketball to make sure that competition is available for players of all ages and abilities. We also host the monthly Mid-Kent Junior competition.
Individual or group coaching is available for players of all levels from qualified coaches.
Steve Franks, the Kent County Junior Coaching Manager & Development Officer, is based at the club.
He can be contacted directly either by phone 07855288471 or email email@example.com.
A pay and play facility is offered for non-members at £12 per session. Call the Club on 01622 676977 after 5 pm on the day to reserve a court (if available).
