KENT OPEN COUNTDOWN

2017 KENT OPEN AT THE MOTE: BE PART OF IT

We would love EVERY club member to be involved in the Kent Open, which is taking place for eight days in the middle of June and will once again give members the chance to watch top-class professional squash.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED:

KITCHEN AND BAR: The club will be very busy for eight days in a row. Help needed in the bar and kitchen every day.

DRIVING PLAYERS: Help needed in picking up players from the station, or taking them to and from the club and the tournament hotel.

RAFFLE PRIZES: We would welcome some attractive prizes for the raffle. Tickets will be on sale all week, and the draw will take place after the finals. Please contact Tim Casey.

BAR-B-Q: Help wanted over the finals weekend.
Please contact Gerard Harbron.

RESERVE YOUR SEATS FOR THE SEMI-FINALS AND FINALS:
Please donate a small sum to reserve your seats behind Court 1 (suggested minimum donation £10 per person per day).

BE A SPONSOR:
Promote your company via one of the top six professional tournaments in England. Benefits include signage, publicity and Company Days on court with the professionals. Alternatively, a simple donation would be greatly appreciated.

COURT CREW:
Help us to keep the courts clean, and we need the glass back wall on Court 1 sparkling throughout the tournament.

BE A MOTE SQUASH CLUB LASHINGS AMBASSADOR:
Guides needed to show guests the way to the Saturday Night After Party Party at Lashings on June 17th. Breakfast is served at 6am. Plenty of time to get back to the club to get ready for the Sunday Morning Champagne Doubles ahead of the finals!

If you can help in any of the above areas, please contact Alan Thatcher by email at alan@squashmad.com

THANKS TO OUR SPONSORS

The Kent Open is among the top tournaments in England. It would be impossible to stage an event of this size without the generous support of our sponsors.

Once again Jonny Powell and Select Gaming are our title sponsors and this year we are delighted to welcome new sponsors in the shape of First Business Finance (Martin Ball), DWL Windows (Dan Smith) and Blade Rackets (Tony Gay).

We are also proud to welcome back long-term partners Lashings (David Folb) and Shepherd Neame (with special thanks to Dougie Dick).

We are also grateful to Mote members who have supported fund-raising activities throughout the year, including Quiz Nights, the Barn Door Challenge and Newvy's Curry Nights.
