Please be aware that there is a Maintenance Book behind the bar that should be used as the first place to log any items that you may spot that needing fixing. This is regularly reviewed by members of the Committee and will be actioned as appropriate.
As you know, there has been a lot of upgrade work carried out over the past few months, but there are always things that need doing, so please continue to log any issues / requests.
The Committee has been focussing on the higher priority areas to ensure we are compliant where we have fallen behind our statutory obligations as well as also trying to improve the general condition of the club.
Some of the key areas that have been addressed so far have been:
- electrical remediation including circuit board replacement
- gas remediation
- court heater maintenance
- boiler replacement
- court upgrades
- men's shower area (still not quite complete)
- gas hob replaced with electric one
- outdoor lighting
- fire risk assessment, general risk assessment, asbestos survey
The Committee minutes also record the latest list of high priority areas currently being looked at so you can see what is planned to be undertaken in the next couple of months.
