Dear Members,
On 10th and 11th August we are delighted to be hosting a Graded tournament at the Mote Squash Club.
This year we are pleased to say the A grade has attracted a number of PSA professionals and will be played over Friday 10th and Saturday 11th August. Play will start Friday morning at 11.30am and continue Friday evening from 5pm.
The Men’s’ and Ladies’ semi-finals and finals will then take place Saturday, please do check timings nearer the date. Maidstone’s own Brad Masters will be playing and so will local pro Ben Ford: both will be known to many at the club.
Our Number One seed is the exciting young pro from Brazil, Diego Gobbi, currently ranked world no 141. Diego will open proceedings Friday morning against the Mote’s Ben Goodayle, who is a wild card entry so PLEASE try to come along and offer Ben your vocal support.
Our very own Lloyd Chinsen will be officiating on Friday evening.
On Saturday from 9.00am until around 7.00 pm we will be running B, C and D graded tournaments. These have been very popular in the past and we hope for a strong turn out from The Mote. Please get your entries in now. Dom has loaded the entry form (also attached to this mail) onto the website which can be posted to:

On both days the bar and kitchen will be open during the day. On Saturday we will run the BBQ from midafternoon.
Russ has also booked a two-piece band from 7pm, similar in style to the great act that entertained us at the Club Championships. It would be great if we can match the fabulous evening at the Club finals so please do come along and support your Mote members.
