Afternoon All
Many of you will remember the family rounders day we held last September, followed by a BBQ. The day was originally pencilled in for the annual Dave Ealham cricket match Vs the Mote but a fixture clash meant we lost the cricket pitch that had been allocated.
This year we are delighted to say that the cricket club has given us both a rounders pitch and a cricket pitch to be used on 8th September.
We plan to kick off with rounders at 11.30. We hope to get as many players as possible again for what promises to be a fun morning. Cost is £10 per head to include the BBQ and a drink.
The cricket match commences at 2.00 pm (after the BBQ) and Dave Seaman is once again our team captain. We need 15 players please at a cost of £20 per head to include the BBQ and a drink.
Russ will post a notice for each sport on the board, please do join in the fun by playing in one or both. Of course spectators are very welcome and we hope the bar will be well supported throughout the day. Don't worry if you are playing in both - only one BBQ needs to be eaten and paid for.

PS: don't forget the PSA and graded tournament 18/19/20 July - per the notices Jason has placed around the club. This year I'm delighted to welcome our existing sponsors and also to introduce two new firms. The club would like to thank Clive Franklin and Jason Goodayle and to warmly welcome Steve Wentzell and Steve Lowe. A more detailed note follows shortly but for now just a reminder that the bar will be open through the weekend with food available at selected times.
