Notice is hereby given that the rearranged Annual General Meeting will take place on Friday 13thNovember at 19:00hrs . Due to the ongoing social distancing measures, we will unfortunately be holding the meeting in a virtual capacity this year via a Zoom call (details to be provided nearer the time).
Committee
As per our Club rules, the Committee effectively stands down and a new Committee is elected at each AGM. The current Committee is listed below and they have all indicated their willingness to stand for re-election.

Treasurer: Bob Korten (recently co-opted into role)
Club Secretary: Alastair Hill
Membership Secretary: Adam Friswell (recently co-opted into role)
Club Captain: Jason Goodayle
Social Secretary: Russell Mason
Junior Secretary: Claire Goodayle
Committee Member: Neil Reading (recently co-opted into role)
If any member wishes to also stand for election into any of the roles, please inform the Club Secretary (Alastair Hill) in writing at alastair.lesley@gmail.com by Friday 6th November at the latest.
Membership Fees
Another function of the AGM is to approve the Committee’s proposal for the annual subscriptions. The Club finances are in a reasonably healthy situation despite a turbulent year, but it is expected that we will dip into our reserves over the next 12months as we manage the impacts of the ongoing pandemic.
However, the Committee are proposing that all fees for existing members will be halved for the 2020-21 year (up to 30th Sep’21) to account for approx. 6mths of lost playing time from March this year. The fees are due on 13th November with all payments due by Sunday 13th December. Any existing member paying after this date will be considered to be a new member (see below).
Fees for all new members will be at full rates on a pro-rata basis. Recent new members who have not yet paid a subscription will be asked to pay full membership fees.
Proposed Fees for existing members 2020-21 (half rate)
Full Adult - £80 (May play at any time)
Off Peak - £40 (May play off peak times only [Peak times 5.00-9.00pm Monday to Thursday])
Senior - £50 (Aged 65 or over on 1st October)
Student - £17.50 (Ages 18 or over and in full time education. May play at any time.)
Junior - £17.50 (Under 19 on 1st October. May play at any time. Entry card issued to parent upon request)
Family - £125 (Two adults and two juniors/students living at the same address. May play at any time. Entry card issued to adults and juniors upon request)
Social - £7.50 (Non-playing members who wish to enjoy the facilities of the club. Entry card not issued)
We will be going paperless this year with membership forms and payments – details to follow at a later date.
We would like to urge as many members as possible to attend the AGM so that you can have your say in how your club is run. To help in the smooth running of our first (and hopefully last!) virtual AGM, please do send any questions you would like addressing in advance to the Club Secretary, Alastair Hill, at alastair.lesley@gmail.com. There will of course be the opportunity to ask questions on the day.
